Fwiw, 90% of Ukrainians oppose elections during active war, 77% oppose elections even after ceasefire with security guarantees, 59% insist elections only after final peace agreement.

I guess we'll see.

Zelenskyy cannot legally schedule an election under martial law, and martial law was just extended for another 90 days. The Rada is supposedly crafting another law to bypass those restrictions, but they're in no hurry as there is no infrastructure to hold elections. It's just to show the Americans that they're proactive. He will lay out a plan on the 24th for possible elections when the conditions are right.
